From Parents to Partners, but Never Beyond
This is a sequel piece to the poem linked above

O my doggy dearest,

Why do you insist on biting?

O my doggy dearest,

I do not like your teeth.

I know you mean no harm, but

Your bite is sharp and painful.

I know you mean no harm, but

You hurt me when you play.

Can I wish for better

In replacement of a man?

Or is this just what I deserve

Since you don't understand?
